Water Separating Fuel Filter Kit Superior protection: • This filter separates water from fuel as it removes other impurities. Fuel contamination with water can result in poor engine performance, stalling and damage to fuel system components.
• Filter features a metal shell that is over 50% thicker than conventional filters with a durable paint finish to resist corrosion - even in saltwater environments.
• Epoxy-coated internal surfaces resist rust caused by exposure to water captured within filter.
Application:
• All Mercury, Mariner and Force outboards with a pulse driven fuel pump that do not already have a water separating fuel filter can benefit from this externally mounted kit.
• All Mercury MerCruiser applications except 1992 4.3L Generation II engines with an in-line fuel
